JDRF is a significant supporter for Diabetic Research. Through its Industry Discovery and Development Partnership program, they are supporting the second part of a Phase ll trial in New Zealand of LCT's DIABECELL product. This product comprises encapsulated islet cells derived from specially bred pigs.
